LLCs and the Farm: A Practitioner Workshop

This one-day event is primarily designed for tax professionals and attorneys working with agricultural clients. The workshop will be in person in Ankeny, but we will offer a livestream option as well.

The workshop will review key considerations for practitioners when working with agricultural producers and landowners, including:

  • When an LLC May be a Good Option
  • Tax Consequences of Common LLC Transactions
  • Operating Agreement Considerations
  • Practice Tips and Traps to Avoid
  • Case Studies (with Forms)

The workshop is designed for beginning to intermediate-level professionals. Although examples will focus on farm clients, the workshop will be helpful for those counseling any small businesses.
