Farm Income Tax Schools

Application has been made for continuing education credits from accrediting organizations for the below-listed participants. CPE credits may range from 13-15.6 hours, depending on accrediting group rules, if attending both days. Two additional ethics CPE credits for participation in the Circular 230 Webinar are available to those who choose to register for the separate event.

This course is designed for:

Registered Tax Return Preparers (IRS - Return Preparer Office Continuing Education)
- This 2-day course has been approved for 15 hours (includes 10 hours of other federal tax law; 5 hours of federal tax law updates).
- If taken with the Taxation Ethics - Circular 230 Webinar (approved for 2 credit hours); this course fulfills the continuing education requirements for Registered Tax Return Preparers.
Certified Public Accountants (Iowa Board of Accountancy)
- The Iowa Accountancy Examining Board does not pre-approve seminars, but it is left to the individual to determine the appropriate course of study. To learn about administrative rules on CPE for CPAs, click here.
- This 2-day course qualifies for 15.6 hours of CPE
- The Taxation Ethics - Circular 230 Webinar qualifies for 2 hours of CPE.
Enrolled Agents (IRS - Return Preparer Office Continuing Education)
- This 2-day course has been approved for 15 hours (includes 10 hours of other federal tax law; 5 hours of federal tax law updates).
- If taken with the Taxation Ethics - Circular 230 Webinar (approved for 2 credit hours); this course fulfills the continuing education requirements for Enrolled Agents.
Certified Financial Planners (Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards)
- Has been approved for 15 hours of credit (no partial credit for partial attendance may not be granted per CFP Board rules).
Licensed Public Accountants (IRS - Return Preparer Office Continuing Education)
- This 2-day course has been approved for 15 hours (includes 10 hours of other federal tax law; 5 hours of federal tax law updates).
- If taken with the Taxation Ethics - Circular 230 Webinar (approved for 2 credit hours); this course fulfills the continuing education requirements for Licensed Public Accountants.
Attorneys (Iowa Supreme Court Commission on Continuing Legal Education)
- This 2-day course has been approved for 13.0 hours of CLE credit.
- The ethics webinar DOES NOT qualify for CLE credit for attorneys.
Real Estate Professionals (Iowa Real Estate Commission)
- This 2-day course has been approved for 13 hours of credit.
Insurance Professionals (Iowa Insurance Division)
- This 2-day course has been approved for 13 hours of credit with the Iowa Insurance Division.

It is impossible to maintain a meeting room temperature satisfactory to all participants, so please layer clothing. As a courtesy to others, use of cell phones in the classroom is not permitted. Workbooks will be distributed at each school.
