Free Webinar: Conforming to Iowa’s Non-Conformity

Wednesday, March 22 from Noon to 1 PM (CST)

The decision by the Iowa Legislature not to couple Iowa tax law with any federal changes implemented since January 1, 2015, has significantly impacted taxpayers and their preparers. Despite the fact that it’s March, a number of outstanding questions remain as to how to handle some returns in light of the non-conformity, particularly those returns involving Section 179 and flow-through entities. We’ve asked Joe Kristan (CPA, author of the popular Tax Update blog, and Tax Technical director at Roth & Company in Des Moines) to join us for a special one-hour webinar devoted solely to these issues. Joe will provide an update from the trenches, review the latest guidance  from the Iowa Department of Revenue, and work through some real-world examples. He’ll also explain where the questions remain and what the ambiguity means for preparers.

We hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a very informative session!
