2014 Ethics Webinars

These courses provide continuing education for enrolled agents, other tax return preparers and Iowa CPAs (CPAs outside the state of Iowa must read the rules and regulations of their state board of accountancy).

Continuing Education: 

This course provides continuing education for enrolled agents, other tax return preparers and Iowa CPAs (CPAs outside the state of Iowa must read the rules and regulations of their state board of accountancy).

Each class is 1 hour of CPE.  

CPE certificates will be issued 1-2 weeks after the conclusion of the class, via e-mail.  

These classes will NOT qualify for

  • CLE for Iowa Attorneys
  • CPE for Kansas CPAs

Please note: Others (those outside of Iowa) licensed by other state boards/organizations should check with their respective boards/organizations to determine if credit applies toward continuing education requirements.  CALT does not apply for CPE in other states, but will we assist in the process to make sure you receive your CPE credits. 

Speakers: 

Kristy Maitre has almost 30 years’ experience with IRS, most recently as the IRS Senior Stakeholder Liaison for Iowa. Kristy is well-respected among Iowa tax practitioners for her service and dedication. In addition to holding the center’s webinars, Kristy is available to address your tax and procedural issues (ksmaitre@iastate.edu or 515-296-3810).

Each class is $35. 

You will be asked to provide information necessary for the CALT to upload your CPE credits into the IRS database.  This will include your name, address, and e-mail and PTIN number and there may be additional questions as needed.  The presentation materials will be e-mailed to you a week or so before the class.   CPE certificates will be issued 1-2 weeks after the conclusion of the class, via e-mail.  These classes will not qualify for CLE for Attorneys.
